המקור לעיל, וכאן התרגום:
Behold the curtain figs that only yesterday
We asked the children thousand times not to stomp;
The door knob which falls away
That should be replaced,
See our infant with his milking teeth
Gripping it, his shoulders attire a school bag
And a 1st grade smile captured by the camera spark.
We escorted the boy to the NIC today.
Behold the suns of time
walk forth upon us in the course of decades
scorch our life's house which we built on the ground
by toil, by sweat, by mortgage,
By eternal love.
The wrinkles in your eyes' angles
Lend me splendor of eternities
In which I weave in slender cords
Thousands of coffee mugs (that only you know exactly how)
And latent compassion.
Our winks grew old.
The mature curtain figs
Smell the autumn now.
Indeed, we made a pact
Not originated from the worlds hereby
Yet when autumn returns to hap
Rise all our years, reflect —
We have lived here
Our common period of serving as beings,
As parents and grandparents
Is wellness-abundant, here,
saturated all over its banks.
